What about appearance facts that are not visible in the headshot? Such as heigh, weight, sizes, etc. Should those be included in some sort of list? I'm so green when it comes to acting resumes. Thank you, you're brilliant!

// RebeckaRebecka Bohlinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003375476054427023.post-64426029224345772062013-03-19T12:21:09.070-07:002013-03-19T12:21:09.070-07:00I think our friends are scared to say anything neg...I think our friends are scared to say anything negative about our work because our acting work is how we define ourselves and there ARE some rules about what not to say when someone asks, "What did you think of my show?" Especially when your friend still has another few weeks in their shit show and has to finish them out....

I DID write about reels

http://thestrugglingactress.blogspot.com/2011/03/how-to-use-actors-access-effectively_29.html

But I could definitely update it/repost.

Thanks for the great idea!Lira Kellermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17642476041389723474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003375476054427023.post-17817543089056630772013-03-19T12:13:17.849-07:002013-03-19T12:13:17.849-07:00Fantastic insight. I never claim that what I put out there is going to be the best thing for everyone but I still can spot a less than stellar representation of someone when I see it. Lately I'm seeing horrible reels. Either all my friends are going to the same crazy editor or moviemaker had a big update. Just throwin' this out there, maybe a post about reels do's and don't's?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11086318503401608769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5003375476054427023.post-30446824602865249412013-03-18T10:19:40.124-07:002013-03-18T10:19:40.124-07:00Thanks Anita! You can immediately tell which headshot is that of an LA based actress and one isn't. That's what everyone needs to see: one MUST get a headshot in the market they wish to compete in.
