"The label you give yourself cannot impact external forces that are not motivated by your own psychology or influenced by a third party's pre-existing consciousness of you. We are all presented with reasons to struggle which come from completely external forces; to pretend that one is not struggling is either arrogance or an admission of defeat. To admit that one is struggling is a sign and a source of strength." - Evan A. Baker

Lira Kellerman

Lira Kellerman’s penchant for puns and unbelievable ability to store ridiculous amounts of trivia and facts makes her one of the savviest young actresses in Los Angeles today.

At 13, Lira Kellerman was the youngest staff writer for the City of Fremont’s city wide teen newspaper Youth Today. She created The Smoke Alarm, the first literary journal for Mission San Jose High School, and then went on to produce her own independent magazine, Medusa’s Stylist. Her plays and writing have been performed throughout California, including Chapman University, where she was honored with numerous awards, including a Kennedy Center nomination for Best Original Work.

Upon graduation, she wrote the column Las Cucarachas for GetUnderground.com, and co-founded Women on Top Productions, an all female movie production company. She co-wrote and starred in Junction which won the Audience Award at the Dances with Film Festival.

Her tight comedic timing, intelligence, charm and beauty combines with her girl-next-door approachability to create a powerful force who simply must be watched.
