"The label you give yourself cannot impact external forces that are not motivated by your own psychology or influenced by a third party's pre-existing consciousness of you. We are all presented with reasons to struggle which come from completely external forces; to pretend that one is not struggling is either arrogance or an admission of defeat. To admit that one is struggling is a sign and a source of strength." - Evan A. Baker

The Perfect Day Job

Manager called me with information about The Perfect Day Job.

I didn't book.

Made the top 6 at network though, which happens to sound a lot like this.

  1. I'm sorry, Lira. :(
But even though you didn't book the job, you TOTALLY booked the room! And that's awesome!

Um, that was my son. He's saying that he's sorry to hear that it didn't work out this time but he says that he's sure all this means is that you're available for even bigger and better things now!

  7. 'Trust that you can’t know what’s best for you. When you don’t get something you thought you wanted, the universe may be protecting you from something, and leading you to an even greater destination.

So have faith that the universe is leading you somewhere wonderful! And you can trust that it’s true, because as long as you’re alive, you are somewhere WONDERFUL.'
