"The label you give yourself cannot impact external forces that are not motivated by your own psychology or influenced by a third party's pre-existing consciousness of you. We are all presented with reasons to struggle which come from completely external forces; to pretend that one is not struggling is either arrogance or an admission of defeat. To admit that one is struggling is a sign and a source of strength." - Evan A. Baker

New Bread and Butter Job

The economy has been so bad lately, that my hair modeling audition ratio has gone waaay down and I'm not making as much money on the side as I used to.

I'll help opening up a new restaurant as a server, where I will be sure to never name and never talk about who comes in.

I feel angry that a company who had a server for 5 years fired him without a warning.

My heart goes out to you JB. May you get a series regular on a top ten show soon.

  1. Amen, girl. Amen. Because there were not any rules in place that prohibited him from "Tweeting" about work happenings, I don't think firing him was technically legal? But , I really believe that something good will come out of this for him. So many people have seen his story now, and are sympathetic...it's gotta lead to something good!
