"The label you give yourself cannot impact external forces that are not motivated by your own psychology or influenced by a third party's pre-existing consciousness of you. We are all presented with reasons to struggle which come from completely external forces; to pretend that one is not struggling is either arrogance or an admission of defeat. To admit that one is struggling is a sign and a source of strength." - Evan A. Baker

Things are Postponed

If you are NOT HAPPY with your representation,

If you are FEELING STAGNANT with your career,

If you dream of one day not STRUGGLING,

Then GO: get into a class that pushes you, get a new current hairstyle, take new headshots and go submit to the agencies you want to be with.

You too could go from an agent who tells you you're not getting auditions because your hair is curly, to an agency that sends you out for a Series Regular role on a new pilot.

I have some lines to learn. A lot!

How to Create an Actor's Resume Part 2 is postponed.

I hope you understand.

  1. couldn't be a better reason to postpone. except for maybe booking it
    sending good mojo

  2. Whoop whoop! Keeping my fingers crossed for you! X

  3. These ladies summed it up pretty nicely. The only thing I have to add is... DAMN, girl. Now that I think back on your commitment to blog while trying to act and maintain a steady day job, I have so much more respect for you. I had a lot for you before, but now it's through the roof. I'm doing all three of these sings, but usually something has got to give.

Sorry blog. And best of luck with your audition Lira!

  4. Okay. We'll let you off the hook for this one ;)

  5. Good Luck! I'm sure you are going to ROCK it!

  6. Um. Yes. Yes, we do understand.

Knock 'em dead, sweetheart! Broken legs and all that jazz.

  7. You know we're all rooting for you!

Play nice.
